拍品描述: Chinese 19th century porcelain famille vase signed. Classic 19th century signed Chinese porcelain vase is decorated with enamel florals and several birds perched amongst tropical landscape. The vase has reticulated handles with traces of original gilt. The back side is embellished with hand painted black Chinese characters. The rim of the base has some iron red marking and an orange peel surface. The neck of the vase sustained damage at one point and has been reglued, it has not been restored. Most likely from the Inisfada estate of Nicholas Frederic Brady (October 27, 1878 - March 27, 1930) in Manhasset, NY. The vase was gifted to his personal secretary, David Dowd. Measures 22.5 inches high x 8 in diameter.
