拍品描述: French 19th century repeater carriage clock. Brass case with beveled glasses, exposed escapement through the top and alarm/repeater button. Enameled dial with black Roman numerals and minute markers on the chapter ring with distaff hands. Quality French brass movement with silvered lever platform escapement, strikes on a single coiled gong. All appears to be running, strikes properly and balance has good brisk motion; some tarnish to the case. Good condition, includes key and in original wood and leather travel case lined in velvet. The clock runs and strikes at this time, but we do not guarantee timepieces to run. Clock measures 5.6 inches high x 3.2 inches wide. Case measures 5.8 inches high.c
