拍品描述: Madonna and Child European School 19th century oil painting. Continental 19th century religious painting very well executed by a highly skilled artist. The hem of the luminous Madonna figures robe appears to be stylized Cyrillic script. It may very well be an artist's signature. Oil on wood panel. Good condition, four thumbprint-size touch ups and light touch up around frame edge. Painting measures 31.8 inches high x 25.3 inches wide. Gilt frame measures 41 inches high x 34 inches wide.
