拍品描述: The Goddess of Mercy is carved with downcast eyes and her hair in a high chignon, she wears long robes and holds a scroll in her right hand. She is seated on an openwork lotus base with two lotus leaves, one of which supports a bird. The lotus stand rests on a rocky base. The carving is covered with traces of pigments on stucco and gilt lacquer. Condition: Various chips and losses to the extremities, including to the left hand; edges of the carving; one lotus stem (which has been restuck), the item on the lotus leaf, and the front of the stand. Age cracks to the wood. Flakes to the stucco, pigments and gilding. Origin: China Period: 19th/20th century Sizes: 28.50 cm. H x 16.00 cm. W 11.22 in. H x 6.3 in. W
