The Chinese Qing Dynasty period (AD 1644-1911) gilt bronze Buddha figure, Seated upon an ovoid pedestal in double crossed legs, the left hand outreached in shoulder level, with elbow on the lap. Right hand in chest level with Dhayana-mudra gesture. Wearing ornate floral headdress and jewelries, pendant numerous necklace across the open chest, and armlets are worn on both arms, with silk scarf wraps along the shoulder downward to pedestal terminating the everted scrolling ends. Lower body is adorned in a tight thin skirt. Left hand raised in heart level in vitarka-mudra, right hand reached out and everted beyond the ushnisha in Tajrani Mudra, gesture ward of evil. The Buddha shows extensive gilt remain on the surface with trace of blue pigment on hair.
Mark on reversed pedestal, six engraved Tibetan lettering inscription.
