VERY FINE CHINESE JADE COVERED TRIPOD CENSER IN BOX

拍品描述: The Chinese nephrite jade finely carved unto globular shape body, with faceted shoulder, short neck further toward wide opening. The rounded cavetto supported by three cabriole squat legs. Two dragon masks surmounted on the gathering mouth, with its whisks draped unto the body. The flaring finial everted from the dome lid carved with Shou medallion and Fu-bats. The exterior decorated in reliefs with archaic scrolling motifs against key fret diaper.
The tripod censer elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand, all set within an original fitted wooden box, covered with golden-brown silk.

This very fine nephrite jade displayed creme-teal color with golden-russet inclusions, clean iridescent, and moist milky appearance. The carving is superb, with smooth and details decoration.
Expert workmanship is the absolute highlight of this gorgeous vase.
