拍品描述: White heron flying in a storm. Kacho-e, Original color woodblock print, published around 1910′s. Signed: Koson. Seal: Koson. Publisher: Daikokuya (ohne Angaben). On the back, little stamp “Made in Japan“. Kosons collaboration with various publishers in Tokyo began during the early 1900′s. His main interest was for traditional flower and bird painting (Kacho-e) according to nature studies, in which he soon found his own unmistakable style. Koson′s first works were published by Kokkeido, a publishing house whose owner was Akiyama Buemon - once Yoshitoshis most important publisher. Soon following, also Daikokuya, a publishing house which presided over Matsjuki Heikichi, committed to the young artist.
