拍品描述: Silver, gilding, turquoise etc. Tibet, 18th to 19th cent. A Rare and unusual piece of an elaborate and fantastically worked headdress with square, flat amulet container in the center. This is totally covered with particularly attractive turquoise, the middle one formed as a blossom. On three sides, grommet rings "thunder bolts" vajra with pointy ends, as customary for gau (amulet vessel) and on which the ribbons are flexibly attached. On the forehead side, a further more rounded piece where a mask-like face in the center appears (eyes and horns are recognizable). The bands are formed as precisely crafted multi-part chain links featuring ornamental surfaces with gilded filigree and stones on the front. On their ends, the bands present moveable, attached decorative elements in ratna form with turquoise, including also hooks for attachement, as well as a decorative ring. On the back of the central ornamental piece are filigree blossoms, as well as a little chain hanging from a grommet. Altogether well-cultivated condition and good preservation.
