A Queen Anne/George I figured walnut bureau bookcase, with 1/4 veneers, feather-banding and broad cross-banding, the upper double arched section with two doors, enclosing two adjustable shelves over 4 short drawers, the base with two retractable candle slides above a fall, enclosing a stepped interior and well, the two long drawers over a moulded edge, raised on later bun feet, restorations and later elements, 101cm wide x 55cm deep x approximately 192cm highCondition report: Overall - ok in general. Some chips and dents, including edges of fall and doors. Inevitably some loss of original colour.Later elements, including lowest shelf and probably drawers in upper section, some of bureau's interior, including stepped section, some beads and mouldings and bun feet, handles, hinges and escutcheons. Restorations including the top and veneers, including both sides of top, right door and fall and veneers in general, including crossbanding of fall.
