拍品描述: Japan, Edo period (1615-1868)

Of baluster form and painted in underglaze blue and overglaze iron-red and gold with floral designs in traditional Imari style, the shoulders and neck with scrolling vines ground surrounding floral reserves.

HEIGHT 26.5 cm

Condition: Good condition with expected wear and two chips to the foot rim.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by a third-generation member of the Holzapfel family after 1995 and has remained in the family ever since.
