拍品描述: Japan, Edo period (1615-1868)

Of pear shape, the body decorated in high relief, underglaze and overglaze polychrome enamels with flower sprays growing from a band of scrolling vines, the neck with similar motifs above a band of concentric circles. All over a crackled white porcelain ground.

HEIGHT 23.5 cm

Condition: Very good condition with expected traces of use and wear.
Provenance: Holzapfel collection, Geneva, Switzerland. This lot was acquired by second generation members of the Holzapfel family after 1970 and has remained in the family ever since.
