拍品描述: BOTTLESQING DYNASTY (1644-1911)"The group comprises a small carved jadeite 'crane and pine' bottle; a large agate 'flower' bottle; a small greenish-white jade bottle and a creamy-white 'landscape' bottle.This lot contains endangered species material. Shipping to destinations outside [the UK or EU/Hong Kong/the USA] requires a CITES permit which will delay your shipment. prior to bidding to check if Christie’s can ship to your proposed destination. Alternatively, you can collect in person and arrange for your own CITES permit and shipping.The agate bottle, 2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) high; Please note this lot is the property of a private individual.; ProvenanceAcquired in the mid-20th century in Asia, then by descent within the family.""The combination of the crane and pine, seen on the current jadeite snuff bottle, forms the rebus song ling he shou, which can be translated as 'live as long as pine and crane'. In traditional Chinese belief, the crane is thought to live for many centuries and is hence a fundamental symbol of longevity.
