拍品描述: A painted pottery model of an armoured equestrian Western Jin DynastyThe horse standing four square on a rectangular base, wearing full body armour, painted in red pigment to simulate chain mail, a protruding lock of hair extending from its forehead, the soldier wearing a tall helmet and armoured robes, a quiver of arrows slung at his right side and a further quiver suspended beside his left leg, decorated in red, black and white pigments.41.2cm (16.1/4in) high. 注脚 The Professor Conrad Harris Collection of Early Chinese Art, formed in the late 1990's to early 2000's.The result of Oxford Thermoluminescence test number C102z36 (11 October 2002) is consistent with the dating of this lot.
