Small, two-leveled red lacquer inro with the depiction of a kawasemi, a kingfisher in typical pose sitting on reeds. Similarly in gold and silver maki-e on the back is the bow of a fishing boat.
Little cord fastener ojime, poss. of coral; the netsuke depicts according to the length a half bamboo piece, carved and with patina.
