拍品描述: Thangka painting on textile. Sino-Tibetan, 20th cent. A superb thangka, rich in figural depictions of Buddhas, bodhisattvas, saints and monastic scholars (acaryas). The lower section presents krodha-deities amidst flames, namely Acala with risen sword. Some deities are shown in their multi-armed manifestation and partially in yabyum with their paredra. The center is dominated with a representation of Buddha Gautama Shakyamuni, holding the almsbowl in one hand, the other hand is in the bhumisparsa mudra.
