拍品描述: Bronze. Northern Thailand, approx. 18th to 19th cent. Unusual and interesting depiction of a Buddha sitting in distinct padmasana (lotus seat) on a lotus pedestal. Particularly striking are the flaming wings, which directly continue into the ears and are primarily known from the Shan region (Northeast Burma – North Thailand). Buddha is wearing a crown and adornments and holding a small patra in one hand and reaching into it with the other. An ushnisha topped by a lotus bud. Dark patina.
