The open worked element in top attachment, which has held the mirror, is a stylized blooming paulownia tree, based on the crest of the Toyotomi family of the early Edo period

Toyotomi Hideyoshi was one of the empire unifier and the most powerful daimyo around 1700. These mirror boxes were always made identical in the shape; the decor was then applied individually.

Condition:
The mirror box is made technically well and in good condition with the usual age and wear. Drought cracks, some loss of material at the top and some gold abrasion can be seen. The height measures 66 cm, width 27.5 cm and depth of 28 cm.
