A BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' JAR, GUAN
Ming Dynasty, 15th/16th century Decorated to the exterior with a wide frieze of six scrolling leafy lotus stems, within a band of lappets at the foot and a band of lotus ruyi lappets at the shoulder, the neck with repeating cloud scroll motifs, all on a creamy white crackle glazed ground. 34cm (13 1/2in) high.
