A BLUE AND WHITE 'LOTUS' JAR, GUAN
Ming Dynasty, 15th/16th century Decorated to the exterior with a variety of leafy flowering stems alternating with pairs of butterflies and insects, within borders of lappets and ruyi pendants reserved with lotus sprays and below cloud motifs to the neck. 30cm (11 3/4in) high.
