Description: Oil on canvas. Housed in a modern silver painted wood frame. Signed lower left "Wm Paskell". Note: The church and square depicted bears significant resemblance to the church formerly located at the corner of Summer and Bedford streets in Boston. The church was first built in 1719, however, in 1814, Charles Bullfinch built a new church on the same spot. The church was demolished in 1868, shortly before William Paskell arrived in Boston as a young boy.
