French 19th century gilt ormolu bronze parian clock set. The ornate Leroy A? Paris France bisque and ormolu mounted clock set has elaborate two-light candlesticks with French figures flanking the center clock. The white Parian figures depict an 18th century man and woman mounted on intricately decorative ormolu acanthus swagged garland bases raised on animal hoof feet. The center clock bears a female figure to the left with matching ormolu gilt bronze base mounted with screws. Both candlesticks have an impressed Sevres-style mark with letter F in the center and has numerous marks and numbers on the base. Artist signed on base of male candlestick, Le Sueur. Good condition, minute chips on some petals from the floral finials, three repaired hairline cracks on one candle holder. The clock is running and striking at this time, but we do not guarantee any clock pieces to run. Includes a period brass key. Clock measures 12.2 inches high x 8.8 inches wide. Candlesticks measures 9.8 inches high x 7.8 inches wide.
