拍品描述: French 19th century Bru fashion doll. Bisque socket head doll with blue spiral paperweight eyes, pierced ears with earrings and closed smiling mouth. The doll has multi stroke eyebrows and tiny lashes. On a bisque shoulder mount, which is mounted to the original all white kid leather body with gussets at elbows, hips and knees, the left arm has some old cloth tape repair. The original blond antique mohair wig is over a cork pate. Beautifully dressed in a taffeta gown and fur hat and muff with lace trimmed undergarments. Original blue leather shoes have the number 2 within a keystone. Marked with the number 4 on back of neck. In good condition. We are not certain if this doll is a Jumeau or a Bru or another superior French doll maker. Measures 15.5 inches high.
