A Chinese blue and white 'dragon' ogee cup , Yongzheng mark and of the period, the deep body flaring from the foot before rounding upwards towards the rim, the interior painted with a flaming pearl to the centre with single line border below four-clawed dragons standing amidst small clouds and flames in the well, the exterior painted with a continuous band of crashing waves and the top rim with double line border, 10cm diameter, 4.5cm high
Provenance: ‘Mr. Ko’ who worked for the Chinese Postal Service from 1904-1947 and then by direct family descent.
