A Chinese carved Peking blue glass vase, Qing Dynasty, the rounded body tapering to a tall slender neck with lipped rim, decorated in relief with bifid-tailed dragons entwined to form an overall design, the whole supported on a splayed foot and the transparent body of cobalt blue tone, engraved to the base with Qianlong four character mark,16.5cm high
Provenance: Purchased by the current owner at Sotheby's, London, 12th November, 1979, 102, from the collection of Professor P.H. Plesch and Mrs T. Plesch and prior to that in the Henrich Collection.
