Carved Lapis-Lazuli Chinese court necklace, ChaoZhu beads. 19th C., Qing Dynasty court necklace comprised of well strung 108 natural round shape lapis-lazuli beads accented by four larger carved agate beads bordered with smaller green jadeite beads. Encircled toward the center agate Fotou connecting to a golden-yellow ribbon suspending oval shaped agate pendant, followed by the central back-cloud (BeiYun) quartz crystal gourd shaped pendant. Additional three strings of ten agate beads each suspending a similar quartz crystal pendants, with floral bead caps before the jadeite beads. The necklace displayed inside an original Lacquered round trinket box, the exterior decorated with gilt dragons against dark-brown lacquered surfaces. Interior covered with metallic blue silk. The underside showing six iron-red painted inscription, QianLong Reign Period of Great Qing, (and of the period) Tear and wear, some crackled on the lacquer, crack, nips, some scratches, due to ages and wear.
