拍品描述: The nephrite of tall flori-form vessel with Quadra-petal shaped rim in the form of bamboo stalks are accompanied by a phoenix, rocks, and clump of sacred fungus. The exterior elaborately open-carved with a phoenix singing among the bamboo, fengmingzaizhu. The motif conveys peace as well as fulfillment of all wishes, Ping'an ruyi. The Mythical Phoenix only appears during times of peace, and her favorite abodes are the Chinese parasol and bamboo. Elegantly presented upon a carved hardwood stand. The jade stone carving is smooth, showing moist milky appearance, with reddish hues further to upper body over grayish-celadon iridescent over all.
