拍品描述: 19th C. CHINESE EXPORT SILVER DRAGON BOATS REPOUSSE Goblet Trophy. Having upturning bell shaped body with round cavetto everted the waisted sides toward the flaring rim, raised on an elongated tall splayed foot base. Two dragon flanked on the shoulder down to the lower central body.
The main body repoussed with dragon-boats rowing upon tumultuous swirling waves under the stylized scrolling clouds. while the neck left simply plain further to the rim. The domed lid having compromise floral design beneath band of tropical leaves surrounding the pinnacle finial.
