拍品描述: Antoine Blanchard (c.1910-1988); Medium: Oil; Media: Canvas; Year or Era Produced: 20th century; Signature: Bottom right; Sight Area Approximate Measurement: 19.5" x 23.5"; Frame Approximate Measurement: 24.75" x 28.75" x 0.75"; Weight: 4 lbs; Note: Wood frame, no glass. Excellent condition with no repairs and offered in a modern gilt wood frame. Antoine Blanchard is best known for his renderings of Paris street life as it was during the 1890s. His impressionistic palette is applied using short brushwork, while paying careful attention to the light, reflections and seasons of the street. He studied drawing and painting at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
