A Burmese silver rice bowl, circa 1913, chased in relief with traditional figures including a man astride an elephant, a family in horse-drawn buggy, temple dancers, bands of scrolling foliage and acanthus leaves, base chased with leaf motif signature and inscribed " Presented to H. F. Burke by his Burmese staff, Kalewa, Upper Burma, April.1913", 23 cm. diameter, 18 cm. high, wt. 914 gm.
