A good and extensive silver table service of Tudor pattern flatware and cutlery by Mappin & Webb, Sheffield, 1939, except the fish-eaters, 1940, comprising:- 12 soup spoons, 12 dessert spoons, 12 table forks, 12 dessert forks, 12 pastry forks, 12 coffee spoons, 12 table knives with stainless steel blades, 12 cheese knives with stainless steel blades, 12 teaspoons (6 of which have gilt interiors to bowls), 6 fish knives, 6 fish forks, 6 grapefruit spoons, 4 serving spoons, 2 small serving spoons and 1 butter knife, weighable silver including hollow-handled fish-eaters 4937 gm.
Pretty much as new, appears unused, one design point is that the handles of the table knives and cheese knives are quite long in relation to the blades but this is a good clean set
