19TH CENTURY 清中期 石青缎地盘金绣賀壽圖大帳 finely worked in multi-colored threads of variegated coral and blue tones with satin and needleloop stitches accented with couched gilt threads depicting various Daoist immortals including Magu and Fu Lu Shou with their attendants in a garden with pine, peach trees, flowering prunus branches and rockery, all below the clouds with Xiwangmu seated atop a phoenix with her attendant, joining the immortals, further enclosed by shou bands, framed. The structural integrity sound, with some losses to satin stitch work, particularly to the coral-toned threads, that does not impact the overall impression of the work.
