拍品描述: Two Italian Albarelli with Saints — Sicily, Palermo, c. 1600 Slender cylindrical form with slightly indented walls, each with a figure of a saint standing on a landscape base in a high oval cartouche in front of a yellow background, emblematic and geometric decoration in yellow and blue on the verso, wavy band on the shoulder and foot. Majolica, painted in blue, green, yellow and ochre. H. 28 cm. - Damage, chipped glaze, one with cracks in the bottom area. - Cf. R. A.
