拍品描述
Bronze with gilding. Tibet, 17th to 18th cent. This fierce protective deity features flaming hair, skull crown, diverse jewelry necklaces, as well as Garuda wings. She stands in stride on two reclining bodies, as well as on a lotus base. Hevajra, also called Heruka, is in sexual union with the yogini Nairatma, whose leg is swinging up ecstatically. Both are two-armed and holding respectively in the hands a skull bowl kapala and cleaver karttrka. On the back is a sealed closure; also the bottom is closed, inside presumably respectively with intact votive offerings. Partly powerful age patina, some preserved gilding. HEIGHT 12,2 CM From a Japan. private collection, exhibited in "Buddhist Art of Tibet", Korea 2006, illustrated in the catalogue on page 30 鑲金青銅造喜金剛和夫人像。西藏,17至18世紀。高12.2厘米。日本私人舊藏。
