拍品描述: An English flintlock boxlock pocket pistolearly 19th centurywith a 7cm turn-off barrel, steel action engraved with scrollwork, walnut grips, proof marked crown over crossed swords,21cm overall length Sold as an exempt item under Section 58 (2) of the 1968 Firearms Act, to be held as a curiosity or ornament.NOTES: Please note that additional VAT is payable on the hammer price for this lot.Condition report: The hammer is stuck in half cock position and won't release, the barrel will turn off with little ease but there is a chip to the tip of assembly point on the frame. There is some pitting and degradation to the internal rifling of the barrel, further pitting to hammer and general wear throughout including lifting of the frame away from the butt to both sides, several dings and dents to butt.
