A layer of finely carved and stained ivory landscapes with figures in various pursuits in and around waterfront pavilions, over a painted ivory river landscape. Glazed glass layer at lower section of river. Painted background decoration on paper, laid on board. Housed in Chinese carved rosewood frames. Label verso marked "X. Skarszewski". Panels 15" x 23" sight. Frames 22" x 29".
