Champa, 10th-14th century. The betel holder of cylindrical shape with a recessed circular base, the cover tapering upwards to a stepped conical finial.
Condition: Good condition commensurate with age, with extensive traces of age and wear, few miniscule losses, a fine malachite-green patina, and white betel residue to the interior. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
