Champa, 9th-12th century. The box of globular form with a stepped cylindrical cover, with an old inscription in old Cham characters to the exterior sides.
Condition: Good condition commensurate with age, with extensive traces of age and wear, few miniscule losses, some verdigris, and soil encrustations. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
