Champa, 14th-16th century or earlier. Each hairpin of conical shape with finely carved and neatly incised decorations towards the top and each with a skillfully carved finial depicting a different animal: a young deer, a rabbit, a dog, and a mongoose.
Condition: Very good condition with minor traces of age and wear. Fine patina. Provenance: Ex-Collection of The Zelnik István Southeast Asian Gold Museum. Institutional art collection in Belgium, acquired from the above.
