(98.2 cm. x 68 cm.), including textile mounts, framed and glazed 於1968年購自倫敦 (標籤) The Five Poisons, the toad, lizard, scorpion, centipede and snake, are said to form an elixir that neutralizes evil. The five together are a talisman used to counteract evil on Duanwujie (Dragon Boat Festival), the fifth day of the fifth month that marks the beginning of summer. The day is seen as one of the most inauspicious days of the year as it is the day when poisonous animals begin to appear.
