Xiao Shufang (1911-2005), born in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province, is a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and a famous contemporary Chinese painter. She mainly paints the country, and also paints watercolor. Flowers are her strengths. Some works are both crafted and written, and some are freehand brushwork. They are watercolors and resemble Chinese paintings, forher own style. In the painting, the hibiscus is vividly dyed and has a long watery rhyme.
