拍品描述: ORIENTAL RUG: PEKING CHINESE 17'10" x 17'10" Salmon red field with several rows of graceful meandering vines bearing dramatic blossoms in shades of blue and ivory, and a central medallion composed of clouds and frolicking fu dogs. Salmon red main border with a motif to match the field, contrasting with the interior border. Condition Report 1900. Discoloration approx. 10" in diameter at lower edge of carpet is likely a pet stain. Another smaller, lighter stain apparent a couple feet away. Numerous small areas of patching or repile to parts of exterior blue border. Small random areas of moth damage. Please contact Eldred's 48 hours prior to the auction start time with condition report requests. Please do not bid on any item without reading the condition report.
