拍品描述: PAULA SLATER (American 20th century) "The Perfect Mask" Painted bronze. Including marble base: 29 1/8 x 16 x 17 inches. Signed, dated and numbered on the back: P. B Slater, ??2003, 1/88. This sculpture is the third sculpture in the Royal Faerie series, this sculpture demonstrates: "She?-s found the Perfect Mask so now she?-s off to the Royal Faerie Masquerade Ball. The Ball is held on each Winter Solstice eve, when Royal Faeries gather to celebrate the beginning of longer days and the promise that soon all of nature will once again be on display".
