Song DynastyThe Jian ware bowl covered in a thick lustrous black glaze densely suffused with russet streaking, stopping short of the foot to reveal the brown stoneware body; the Jizhou bowl covered in a chocolate brown glaze liberally covered with cream coloured splashes. 9.5cm and 8.5cm.
