拍品描述: Chinese Shark Skin Ceremonial Saber, Qing Dynasty, an Shark Skin Ceremonial saber and scabbard, Qianlong mark, the elongated 'S'-shaped saber, intricately open carved in relief with Dragons patterns, the opposing end decorated with stylized scrolling lotus twigs in dragons-shaped patterns and embellished with an intricate sword-guard separating the slender blade, cast in relief with similar motifs.
Having steel blade marked near the hilt, one side with the fours seal script -ZhuanShu- characters, QianLong Reign Period. The blade indented on each side with double long grooves, adorned with open carved coin-patterns in gilt, tapering to the gently upturned tip.
