Work: 73 x 49,5 cm? Frame: 93 x 70 cm ? ? The painting is a copy after a work of Peter Paul Rubens (1577-1640). The original can be seen in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts, Antwerp, inv. 313 (link). ? The design (with left and right a fight against death and sin) was also available in the Netherlands through an engraving by Paulus Pontius, which is kept in the collection of the Rijksmuseum Amsterdam, object number: RP-P-OB-70.051 (link). ?
