By Seiyodo Bunshojo (1764-1838), Iwami Province, dated 1829The tusk carved in relief with a large spider among ferns engraved in delicate kebori; signed Iwami-no-kuni Enokawa Seiyodo Bunshojo chokoku, toki ni Bunsei tsuchinoto-ushi haru nari (Seiyodo Bunshojo carved this by the Eno River in Iwami Province, in the spring of the tsuchinoto-ushi year of Bunsei [1829]). 10.7cm (4?in).
