Attributed to Seiyodo Tomiharu (1733-1810), Iwami Province, dated 1790The small frog squatting on a piece of weathered wood, its legs splayed, its eyes inlaid in pale and dark horn; signed with partially legible ukibori characters Iwami-shu (Iwami-no-kuni) Enokawa . . . saku Kansei kanoe-inu . . . gatsu (made by . . . the Eno River in Iwami Province in the . . . month of the kanoe-inu year of Kansei [1790]). 5.8cm (2?in).
