注脚
十七世紀 黃花梨有束腰馬蹄足雕螭龍紋炕桌The present huanghuali table is rare in its design around the apron, comparable to that on a long zitan table, early Qing dynasty, illustrated in the Collection of the Palace Museum: Red Sandalwood Furniture, Beijing, 2007, pl.123; and to that carved on a huanghuali table, Ming dynasty, illustrated by Wang Shixiang in Ming Furniture, Beijing, 2003, pl.113. The fine and rare quality of the joinery demonstrated in the present table is clearly evident in the accomplished and well-proportioned design around the apron, and the attention to detail given to every part of the finely-carved archaistic geometric scrolls. This table is also unusual for the relatively good condition of the lacquer applied to the underside of the table. Compare with a related but slightly later huanghuali kang table, 18th century, with archaistic scrolls on the apron, which was sold at Bonhams New York, 16 March 2015, lot 8081.
