An Yixing teapot and cover
18th centuryThe vessel modelled as a seated phoenix, the head turned to the reverse, a short spout issuing from the neck, the body carved and incised to simulate the plumage, the cover in the form of a pearl issuing from flames. 15cm (5.7/8in) long. (2).
