Two gold, silver and copper damascened iron ewers
Tibet, 17th-19th centuryEach with makara-head spout and dragon handle flanking a circular mid-section decorated with trailing flower-heads in gilt and silver, all encircling a 'dragon' medallion, the smaller ewer with Buddhist symbols among the lotuses, the covers with lotus bud finial. The largest: 43.5cm (17 1/4in) high (4).
